Back in June, singer Nezza staged a one-woman protest at Dodger Stadium in response to the federal immigration crackdown in LA. Now, she’s getting ready to perform a benefit concert at the historic The Roxy Theatre this Friday to raise money for immigration defense nonprofits. Largely influenced by her Latino and Hispanic heritage, her parents had a meaningful impact on her music taste and stage presence. As early as she can remember, Nezza gravitated toward Latin and American music, reflecting her unique hybrid culture-infused music and performances that we all love and know today.
